Manuela Dias remembers romance with Wagner Moura: “Volcano in eruption”
The novel author Manuela Dias, 48, recalled her relationship with actor Wagner Moura, 49, during the period when they were both in college.
Both Wagner and Manuela studied at the Federal University of Bahia.
“Wag is one of those loves that we carry forever, transmuted. I still remember the first time I saw him: he wore tailored pants made by his mother, Piu Piu, and suede lace-up shoes. There was something in his look that captured me forever”, she told GQ magazine, which named Moura Man of the Year in Cinema in 2025.
“When I saw him on stage for the first time, in a play directed by Zé Possi Neto, I was sure a rocket was taking offa volcano had erupted. At the moment, Moura is married to Sandra Delgadowith whom he also studied at UFBA. The two are parents of Good19, Salvador15, e José13.
