Master’s Trick (2013)
Released in 2013, the first title in the “Trick of the Master” series had only an average critical reception, but achieved enormous commercial success. The film grossed 351.7 million dollars worldwide, well above its budget of 75 million.
With an outstanding cast, the production brings together Jesse Eisenberg, Mark Ruffalo, Woody Harrelson, Mélanie Laurent, Isla Fisher, Common, Dave Franco, Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman. Directed by Louis Leterrier.
In the plot, a group of illusionists carry out robberies during their own shows, using elaborate tricks to distribute money to the public and confuse the FBI.

Like its predecessor, “The Master’s Trick: The 2nd Act” also received mixed reviews, but was a box office success, grossing around $334 million worldwide.
In the plot, the Four Horsemen are recruited by a criminal to steal a chip capable of accessing any computer system.
The cast includes Jesse Eisenberg, Mark Ruffalo, Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco, Daniel Radcliffe, Lizzy Caplan, Jay Chou, Sanaa Lathan, Michael Caine and Morgan Freeman. Directed by Jon M. Chu.

About “Master’s Trick: The 3rd Act”
The plot of “Trick of the Master: The 3rd Act” takes place twelve years after the robberies of the first film, from 2013. A trio of young magicians perform an illusionism show that steals a fortune from a corrupt businessman. This catches the attention of the surviving members of the Four Horsemen.
Jesse Eisenberg, Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco, Isla Fisher, Lizzy Caplan and Morgan Freeman return to the cast. Justice Smith, Dominic Sessa, Ariana Greenblatt and Rosamund Pike are the new additions. Directed by Ruben Fleischer.
Will there be “Trick of Master 4”?
The answer is yes. A fourth film in the “Trick of the Master” franchise is in development. Lionsgate confirmed, at CinemaCon 2025, that the film is in production and that Ruben Fleischer will return as director.
However, this was the only information released; no release date or other details have been revealed at this time.
