Angels of Law stars none other than Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum. With a duo like that, it’s clear that the film could only be a huge success, right? So much so that, just 2 years after the release of this feature, the second was released and reached the same level of popularity.

Knowing the history of Angels of Law

Jenko and Schmidt went to high school together, but they belonged to different worlds: one was the popular, unintelligent jock, while the other was the rejected nerd.

Years later, they meet again at the police academy and, overcoming old differences, become great friends and partners, helping each other with their weaknesses in Angels of Law.

However, their career as law enforcement officers doesn’t get off to a great start. After botching a major arrest through incompetence, they are transferred to a revived secret division of the police specializing in undercover operations.

Thanks to their youthful appearances, they are given the mission to return to high school as fake students. The objective is to end a trafficking network responsible for a new and dangerous synthetic drug that is spreading among young people.

They believe it will be easy, but soon discover that social dynamics have changed since their time. The old rules of popularity have been reversed, and now the former nerd is the popular one, and the jock is among the outcasts in Angels of Law.

As they try to survive teenage drama, classes and parties again, the duo must stay focused on finding the drug supplier without being discovered.

Who is in list of this police comedy film?

Of course, Jonah Hill (War Dogs, 2016) is the one who brings Schmidt to life and Channing Tatum (Blink Twice, 2024) is the one who plays Jenko.
