Premiere, venues, prices and what you should know about Guillermo del Toro’s film – El Financiero

Guillermo del Toro’s film will not be broadcast through the large cinema chains in Mexico, as it will reach spaces such as the Cineteca Nacional or the Cine Linterna Mágica.

  • Magic Lantern Cinema: 77 pesos (for adults) and 66 pesos (for children and seniors). For now there are only performances for Thursday, October 23 and Friday, October 24.
  • Cinemas WTC: 80 pesos (general admission in Plus room) and 190 pesos (VIP admission, general). The performances are only from Thursday, October 23 to Wednesday, October 29.
  • Julio Bracho Room (CCU): 40 pesos (general) 50% discount to the UNAM community. The performances will be on October 23, 24, 25, 26, 30 and 31.
  • Chopo University Museum: 40 pesos (general) 50% discount to the UNAM community. The film will be shown on October 24 and 31.
  • Drive-in Coyote Insurgentes and Polanco: 290 pesos (per vehicle with no passenger limit), 50 pesos (per person if you go without a car) or 100 pesos (for bicycles and motorcycles).

In the case of the Coyote Drive-In, the only screenings available in Polanco are for October 24, 25, 28, 29 and 30; while in Insurgentes it can be seen on October 27, 28 and 29.

When to buy tickets for ‘Frankenstein’ at the Cineteca Nacional?

In addition to the previous spaces, the three venues of the National Cineteca in Mexico City will show the film, however, unlike the previous venues, the pre-sale will begin on Thursday, October 23.
