The internet is currently busy waiting for the new part of the TRON-row beaten. We have each other TRON: Ares and would like to briefly share our impressions in this quick checker.

This is what TRON: Ares is all about

In order to get ahead of the competition at Encom, Julian Dillinger goes further than anyone has ever done before. He brings what he thinks is the perfect soldier, Ares, into the real world to compete and get the persistence code that would allow the objects and “beings” coming from the computer to exist permanently outside the computer, because so far they decay after only 29 minutes.

But Ares doesn’t think much of the fact that Dillinger sees him as just a consumable that can be recreated or simply deleted if he misbehaves. What Dillinger deliberately ignored as a possible risk suddenly happens: Ares gets out of control.

Review of TRON: Ares

TRON: Ares is often accused of having hardly any plot, but the question arises as to how much story there is TRON-Film actually needs or how much story some moviegoers expect. The action of is felt TRON: Ares not only more extensive, but also more complex than that which was massively criticized TRON: Legacy*.

It’s difficult to say anything about the plot without giving spoilers, but the characters of TRON: Ares are interestingly designed, you got to know them reasonably well over the course of the film and can understand their careers. In addition, there were some connections to important characters from the previous films.

In this regard, it performs TRON: Ares good job at all. Even though the film largely breaks away from the past, it can still be seen, heard and felt everywhere. In any case, the film does not ignore its roots and when you consider the ending, you were already thinking about the future. However, due to current developments, this is in serious jeopardy. Unfortunately. And probably will TRON: Ares also honor the legacy of its predecessors: Both films were only later appreciated and loved for what they are, whereas they did not necessarily catch fire in the cinema – for which they were actually created as bombastic works.

Visual is TRON: Ares of course extremely impressive. The soundtrack is certainly a matter of taste. Personally, I much preferred Daft Punk’s soundtrack from TRON: Legacy. The Soundtrack von Nine Inch Nails* Although it largely fits the scenes shown, it simply didn’t stick in your ear and sometimes even seemed intrusively loud without really having any character.

Conclusion on TRON: Ares

Of course it is too TRON: Ares It’s certainly not a film without its flaws, but it’s nowhere near as bad as many people trumpet in their hateful tirades online. Who one TRON-Expected a movie, got one TRON-Film – with thrilling chases on and off the grid, visually impressive worlds and ideas that will probably one day be overtaken by reality in one way or another.
