Romantic comedy “Eternity” explores the afterlife

The romantic comedy “Eternity” is one of this week’s premieres in theaters. The film explores a concept of “life after death” called “The Junction”, where souls have just one week to choose where and with whom they will spend eternity, before heading to their final destination.

After dying, Joan finds herself in a transit location where newly arrived souls have a week to decide their eternal destiny. She is faced with an impossible dilemma: choosing between Larry, the husband she spent her life with, and Luke, her first love who died young and waited for her for decades.

The film is directed by David Freyne and scripted by Pat Cunnane. The main cast includes Elizabeth Olsen, Miles Teller e Callum Turner. The indicative rating is 12 years.
