See new images of Scorpio
New images have been released from the set of “Spider-Man: A New Day” this Thursday (09). In the images, actor Michael Mando, who plays Scorpio in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, appears leaving a helicopter with handcuffs on his hands, implying that, in the film recorded, the character was being transferred from one prison to another, or being rescued by someone.

The character, until then, only had a small appearance in the MCU, in the post-credit scene of “Spider-Man: Homecoming”where he appeared talking to the villain Vulture (Michael Keaton) in prison, about Spider-Man (Tom Holland).
Despite the photos, not much information has yet been released about Michael Mando’s character in the film, nor whether he will wear the Scorpio costume.
What is known about “Spider-Man: Homecoming”
In addition to Tom Holland, Zendaya and Jacob Batallon, who were in the previous 3 films, actress Sadie Sink (Stranger Things) is also confirmed in the film, but without a specified role. Jon Barenthal is also confirmed in the role of Punisher, along with Mark Ruffalo, returning to the role of Hulk.
There is a lot of speculation about the fourth film in the franchise. It is not yet certain whether it will be just one villain or there will be more. Among the speculations, the possibility of the appearance of the Kingpin of Crime “Avengers”played by Vincent D’Onofrio, and the villain Knull, from “Next 3”have been discarded so far, but there are still countless other theories about the characters and the film’s plot, given that the hero’s last feature film left some questions open.
“Spider-Man: A New Day” is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton (“Shang-Chi” e “The Legend of the Ten Rings”), and its screenwriters are Erik Sommers and Chris McKenna, who were in the script for “No Return Home”.. The new Spider-Man film is being projected to release on July 30, 2026 in theaters.
