‘Star Wars’ confirms the link between the villain of ‘The Acolyte’ and Kylo Ren

In one of the scenes from ‘The Acolyte’, the controversial ‘Star Wars’ series set in the final stage of the High Republicyou can hear Kylo Ren’s main theme. It didn’t take long for the followers to discover it, but it took a few months for the mystery to be revealed. What relationship does Qimir, The Stranger, have with Leia Organa and Han Solo’s son?

In the book ‘The Art of The Acolyte’, Leslye Headland herself, showrunner of the series, explains that Qimir was to be the founder of the Order of the Knights of Renthe same one to which Kylo Ren belongs. Hence, the musical theme was not a coincidence, but a conscious decision on the part of the showrunner.

A story cut short by cancellation?

“It was in the character design, as well as knowing that we were going to introduce Darth Plagueis, who ends up choosing Palpatine as his apprentice. They follow the Rule of Two, a precept that limits the Sith to only two at any given time, a master and an apprentice. One way to maintain that is to have the Stranger be the first Knight of Ren: part of a cult linked to the Sith which we know will eventually survive.”

‘Star Wars: The Acolyte’ It was canceled after only one season on the air.. Although Lucasfilm was working on the second season, they ultimately made the decision not to continue the story, so we won’t see Qimir founding the Knights of Ren unless it’s told in another product in the future.
