Supergirl, the new trailer shows Jason Momoa’s Lobo in action

Warner Bros. released a new Supergirl trailer That shows Jason Momoa’s Lobo in action: this is the first ever look at the character, who we will find in the film with Milly Alcock starting next June 25th.

Created by Keith Giffen and Roger Slifer, Lobo is a very powerful intergalactic bounty hunterendowed with a strength comparable to that of the Kryptonians, virtually immortal and fundamentally free of inhibitions, which makes him a real loose cannon.

In the short video we see the character burst onto the scene aboard his iconic car space bike, the Spacehogwith the inevitable cigar in his mouth and a great desire to fight, which he demonstrates after a few moments by overwhelming a host of enemies.

Already appearing in the now defunct DC Extended Universe in the role of Aquaman, Momoa has never hidden that he has a great passion for Loboand in fact as soon as James Gunn was appointed co-CEO of the new DC Universe the actor immediately called him to propose himself for the role.

Another “choral” story?

If you have read our review of Superman, you will know that the film directed by James Gunn brought to the screen a large number of characters in addition to the protagonist, and it seems that Supergirl will follow a somewhat similar path.

Some time ago Jason Momoa said he always wanted to play Lobo. “It’s a comic I lovedso I’m really nervous about the idea but for me it’s almost an obvious choice.”

“I don’t want to give too much away, but I can say that in the film I am practically identical to the characterjust the same, and it’s pretty rough and rough and… I’ll just say the bike is really cool.”
