“Teléfono negro 2” continues to lead the Argentine theaters – ULTRACINE
Between Thursday, October 23 and Sunday, October 26, 2025, 205,099 tickets were sold in Argentine cinemasaccording to figures collected by Ultracine. Even though there were legislative elections on Sunday, attendance increased by 24.69% compared to last weekend which had been the lowest of the year. In fact, if we compare the figures for Sunday the 26th (755 theaters open, 41,949 tickets) with those for Sunday the 19th (871 theaters open, 37,287 tickets), the increase in attendance is 12.5%.
“Black phone 2” It remained in first place with 54,019 viewers on 255 screens. Despite having decreased screen numbers by 24%, it only lost 12% at the box office. It has cut 139,418 tickets since October 16. Its predecessor, “Black Telephone,” sold a total of 560,970 tickets in its 17 weeks of release in 2022, a mark that the second part seems unlikely to reach.
In positions 2 and 3 were two premieres: the anime “Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc” (2) with 34,960 tickets in 194 theaters and the romantic “Despite you” (3) with 20,710 viewers on 126 screens.
Another launch renewed the ranking: “Good Boy”a horror film told from the perspective of a dog, in sixth position with 10,752 admissions in 163 theaters.
Although they were one of the biggest declines, two Argentine titles continue in the top 10: “Belén” (9th place) with 5,646 spectators and “The Silver Man” (10th place) with 4,005 attendees.
