‘The Black Telephone 2’ appeals to the supernatural in a good sequence with more scares; g1 already seen
Perhaps this happened because, this time, the director and his screenwriter were unable to base themselves on Joe Hill’s book, as was the case in the original film, and had to start from scratch. In the same way they did in the first “Black Telephone”, the two included references to other horror works, such as “Friday the 13th”, once again “The Shining” (by Hill’s father, the renowned Stephen King), in addition to the aforementioned “A Nightmare on Elm Street”. The feature still works, but it loses its new flavor.
