The coolest electric cars that should arrive in 2025
This is a confusing moment for electric vehicles. On the one hand, the models are getting better and more popular than ever. On the other hand, the sector has just been more difficult than a year of sales than expected, and at least in some markets like the US, Europe or Brazil, they will face a long political battle against some governments.
However, for ordinary people like you and I – people who do not work in these companies or in the plenary and do not need to face these problems head on – the good thing is that there are many new and interesting electric ones being released or becoming widely available in 2025. Since Tesla proved that electric vehicles can be legal and profitable, basically all brands have launched a growing wave of battery -powered models after year. Despite the dark expectations around the space of electric vehicles, 2025 will not be a totally bad year.

The most important question that I am observing is whether these future models are the right. In other words, will they be able to change the adoption of electric vehicles significantly? Some definitely have this potential, but the field as a whole will still need affordable options.
In recent years, families looking for three -row electric SUVs have not had many options. In the US, at least, Hyundai will help fill this gap with Ioniq 9, a Kia Ev9 relative that will have over 480 km in all versions.
It is elegant, spacious and uses the same impressive fast loading technology that the South Korean became known.

Lucid Gravity, the second model of the US startup of electric vehicles, has also just started production. It is an elegant three -row SUV with a small van -like load space and the ability to make a Porsche 911 curves, its autonomy is also practically unparalleled, over 720 km estimated range in its debut version. It is not yet known if it will be able to take the incipient startup to the Promised Land – especially due to its potentially unpleasant minivan format – but it is a very special vehicle.
Also prepare for many other electric SUVs in 2025. Cadillac plans to launch Optiq, VisTiq and Escalade IQ, based on the year of launching the company General Motors for EVs in 2024. These three, by the way, have the chances of reaching Brazil soon. Jeep fans will finally have their first totally electric options in the form of the Great Wagoneer S and Recon. Chrysler’s first electric vehicle will also be launched in 2025, although we haven’t known anything about it yet.

In addition, the Mercedes-Benz Electric Class G will soon arrive in the rich neighborhood closer to you. The G580 with EQ technology will offer a very sound name, plus four engines and the ability to accelerate as an AMG. The first fully electric Range Rover is also programmed to be launched in 2025.
But we have already had electric SUVs of various sizes for years. What is available to people who were waiting for something different?

One of the most interesting new vehicles of the year will be RAM 1500 Ramchager. The electric pickup fights the anxiety of autonomy by combining an electric force train with a gasoline generator that feeds it with extra energy. This configuration makes a lot of sense.
Pickup buyers are particularly reluctant to adopt electrification and are concerned with the actual limitations of range of electric trailer. The Ramchager’s proposal is that you can use cheap electricity for shorter trips without sacrificing the convenience of gasoline.

The RAM 1500 Rev, the brand’s first totally electric pickup truck, will also be released in 2025, and it will be very interesting to see how total and partially electric pickup sales behave.
Despite the clear advantage of the speed of cars in gasoline, there is no electric sports car are not yet necessarily a segment with many competitors, as demand is required to justify investments in such cars. However, the next generation of Porsche Cayman and Boxster will be electric and will arrive in 2025.

Dodge Charger Daytona will hit dealers as the first US muscle car. We have no idea who will buy it – maybe even Dodge has – but some brave Dodge members may put aside their V8S and give electric vehicles a chance.
Although the cars listed so far injected a little fun and the much -needed variety in the electric world, none of them resolve perhaps the biggest obstacle faced by these cars today: the price. A worldwide problem, by the way. In November, an average electric in the US market leaves for just over $ 55,000 (R $ 338.5 thousand). For electric cars to become only cars, they will need to equate with price vehicles in price as well. And this will not happen significantly in 2025.

However, there are some good news in this regard. By the end of the year, Chevrolet plans to launch the third generation Bolt as line 2026. The small electric was a big sales success before GM suddenly abandoned it in 2023. Now it is coming back with updated technology, faster charging and the mission of being the most affordable electric vehicle on the market.
Chevrolet has already made noise in 2024 with the launch of Equinox EV, which has a 443 km autonomy. The SUV, by the way, was appointed as the innovative electric of the year 2024 by our colleagues from Insideevs US, So we expect great things from the renewed Bolt too.

No one knows for sure what is coming with Tesla, especially now with the proximity of his CEO with the Donald Trump government, but the American leader in electric vehicles said he would start to launch new models, even cheaper in 2025. Tesla’s chief of investor relations recently said to Deutsche Bank analysts that would launch an electric of $ 37,500 ($ 230,800), manufactured on their production lines) existing.
This could be a Model 3 or Model Y with fleet holder specifications, or a fully new model, which has been called Model Q. But one thing is certain: more options are great for buyers and manufacturers. And you can wait for it this new year.
