It was revealed this Tuesday (16), that Jacobi Skirtwho is currently in the cast of Hamnet, will star alongside Scarlett Johansson the new The Exorcist, which is being directed and scripted by Mike Flanagan.

According to the The Hollywood Reporter, The details of the script have not yet been revealed, however, it is very likely that Jupe will play Johansson’s son, who must live a “newbie detective” of a town that ends up in a case involving “an inconceivable darkness.”

The film appears to have no involvement with the classic and is also not a sequel to the 2023 film. It was also said that Flanagan, who is directing and writing the production, will have “total creative freedom”.
