AID! from 20th Century Studios already has its first trailer and poster. The new psychological thriller with dark humor is directed by the visionary filmmaker who defies the limits of the genre, Sam Raimi (Spider-Man, The awakening of the devil).

AID! is an original film starring Oscar® and Tony® nominated actress Rachel McAdams, (Spotlight, Are you there, God? It’s me, Margaret, Mean girls), Dylan O’Brien (Twinless, Saturday Night: the night that changed comedy), Edyll Ismail (To Brea), Dennis Haysbert (Far from paradise), Xavier Samuel (Elvis), Chris Pang (Crazy millionaires), Thaneth Warakulnukroh (Rescue in a cave in Thailand) and Emma Raimi (Happy Pills), and opens in theaters on February 12.

In the trailer, audiences get their first look at Linda Liddle (Rachel McAdams) and Bradley Preston (Dylan O’Brien), two colleagues who are stranded on a desert island after being the only survivors of a plane crash. On the island, they must overcome old resentments and work together to survive, but above all, it is a haunting, darkly humorous battle of wills and ingenuity to make it out alive.

“I have always been fascinated by stories where interesting and dynamic characters are pushed to the limit”, comments director Sam Raimi. “In our story, changes in power create an escalating situation full of unexpected twists and suspense.”

AID! is produced by Raimi and Zainab Azizi (65), JJ Hook (THE AMATEUR: OPERATION REVENGE) is the executive producer and the script is by Damian Shannon & Mark Swift (Friday the 13th, Baywatch), with original music by Danny Elfman (JACK’S BIG WORLD, Batman).
