The Chinese brand of electric vehicles of the Changan Group wants to stand out amid the crowd of manufacturers in the Chinese market – and bet on technical innovation for this. During its annual conference, the company revealed a new electric propulsion system that promises to be the most efficient in the world, with 92.59% energy efficiency and high power density.
Named Force Super Integrate Electric Drive, Deepal’s new electrical system brings together in a single compact motor, control electronics, auxiliary and power centers – in a concept similar to that used by BYD. According to the brand, the set reaches a power density of 2,53 KW / KGthe highest index ever registered.
The solution is part of a new architecture called Super Range Extender, combining this electrical system with an autonomy extender. The system is able to convert 1 liter of fuel to 3.63 kWh of electricity.

Aggressive expansion
During the event, Changan also announced that Deepal plans to launch a new model every two weeks in the next two months and, in total, 30 vehicles over the next 5 years. One of the highlights is SUV Deepal L06, the first in the world with 3 nanome chip -based software architecture, offering very high processing power and advanced autonomous driving in all versions.
Another highlight is the Deepal S05 Erex, SUV with CATL batteries, EREV hybrid system (Electric with Autonomy Extender) and 620 km autonomy.

For now, Deepal models are sold only in China, where they debuted at the end of 2024. Changan’s expectation is to reach 200,000 units sold in 2025, with continuous growth in the coming years.
The manufacturer also studies the entry into European markets, such as Germany, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands, and even evaluates to produce models locally in Europe. Deepal must be Changan’s spearhead for this expansion on the old continent.
