“Three bowls” from Murgia’s novel, the best Italian film of the season. With Rohrwacher and Germano

Three bowls – the film based on the partly autobiographical book by Michela Murgia – exceeded 1.6 million euros at the box office with around 235 thousand admissions, confirming itself as the most watched Italian film of the season to date.

The film directed by Isabel Coixetplayed by Alba Rohrwacher e Elio Germanoproduced by Cattleya, Ruvido Produzioni, Bartleby film, and Vision Distribution, which distributes it in Italy and abroad, two weeks after its release on 9 October, continues to register a solid hold throughout the national territory, a sign of the public’s strong interest in quality Italian cinema, capable of combining authorship and emotional involvement.

Taken from the book of the same name published in Italy by Mondadori, Three bowlsthanks to the transposition of Enrico Audenino and of the same lamewas able to transform the author’s written word into an intimate and universal story, capable of combining sensitivity and reflection, allowing the film to establish itself as one of the most significant titles of the season.
