Today you have an important appointment with Disney in streaming

Are you subscribed to Disney+? Well, it’s time for you to go straight to the platform to enjoy one of the great movies of this year.

Marvel Studios does not have the pace that many want for two simple reasons: trying to recover lost fans with higher quality projects and preparing the ground for the big event which we will see next year in Avengers: Doomsday. The second thing is to present somewhat more introductory projects, so that you connect with their characters. This summer it was the turn of the best-known family in Marvel comics, the Fantastic Four. It is not the first time that we see them on the big screen, but this time they returned with a film for the UCM titled Fantastic Four: Getting Started and starring new stars.

It is also an excuse to see Pedro Pascal again (because he is rarely seen)

Pedro Pascal leads the new cast of the Fantastic Four as Reed Richards (Mr. Fantastic). They complete it Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm (Invisible Woman), Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm (Human Torch) and Ebon Moss-Bachrach like Ben Grimm (the Thing).

In Fantastic Four: First Steps, Marvel’s First Family must save a world inspired by the 60s and with a retro-futuristic aesthetic. “They face their toughest challenge yet. Forced to balance their responsibilities as heroes with the strength of their family bond, they must defend the Earth from a voracious space god and his scheming Herald,” the synopsis adds. Julia Garner plays the Silver Surfer and Ralph Ineson plays Galactus.

The latest from Marvel Studios debuted in theaters at the end of last July, and in addition to garnering very positive reviews, it soon became one of the highest grossing films of 2025 globally. It grossed over $521.8 million worldwide and currently has an 86% and 91% score on Rotten Tomatoes.

Fantastic Four: First Steps has just joined the Disney+ catalog. Will you give it a chance?
