Tom Cruise switches to comedy: first trailer for Digger, the new film from the director of ‘Birdman’
He first trailer for ‘Digger’a film that initially went by the name ‘Judy’, has been shared. It is about the new comedy starring Tom Cruise and directed by Alejandro G. itraritu (’21 Grams’, ‘The Revenant’, ‘Birdman’) which will be released in theaters around the world in October 2026.
There is a lot of secrecy surrounding ‘Digger’, although the only thing that is known about it is very attractive, since its director previously mentioned that it will be “a new type of movie; a catastrophic comedy” in which Tom Cruise’s character “will surprise everyone”.
In addition to Tom Cruise, these are the names that appear in the cast: Jesse Plemons, Emma D’Arcy John Goodman, Riz Ahmed, Sandra Hüller, Michael Stuhlbarg y Sophie Wilde.
