Top 10 best selling electric cars in Brazil in July 2025

BYD follows as the main force of the Brazilian electric cars market. According to data from K-Lume Consulting, based on Denatran records, the Dolphin Mini was fired the most selled electric model in July 2025, with 3,011 units. The Chinese brand subcompact hatch has been the main gateway to the electrification in the country.

In second position, BYD Dolphin appears, followed by a strengthened Yuan Pro, the cheapest electric SUV in the country, which was sold for $ 160,000 in promotions. The 300 unit Byd Seal Sports sedan appears in fourth place and consolidates the presence of the brand also in higher segments.

Outside BYD, the highlight is the Volvo Ex30, which appears in sixth place with 203 plates – the only non -Chinese brand model of the top 10 (although the model itself is produced in China). The premium compact is today Volvo’s most affordable electric car and has attracted the good package and commendable performance.

But the big news of the month came from GAC Aion, which debuted in July in full force: in its first month full of sales in Brazil, the Chinese brand has made two models among the top ten. Aion V and Aion Y, both electric SUVs, occupied the eighth and ninth places, respectively, showing that there is room for new brands to grow rapidly in our market.
