Toyota Rav4 Dranca Ford F-150 and was the best selling car from the US in 2024

The preference of the Americans for the pickups is clear, just look at the ranking of the best selling vehicles in the United States. For 43 years uninterrupted, the Ford F-150 led the plates. This invincibility, however, came to an end: Toyota Rav4 was the best -selling car there in 2024.

Felipe Munoz, a global analyst at Jet Dynamics, analyzed US sales numbers. The Ford F-150 filed 460,915 units in 2024, a fall of only 5%, but which was enough to make room for RAV4. Toyota sold 475,193 units, 9% more. It is a difference of 14,278 vehicles and only 3% less.

Munoz cited that the result released by Ford would be different by the sum of other pickup trucks and this, in fact, happened. Ford has issued a statement talking about how F-Series is leading sales for the 48th in a row, also adding the result of the F-2550 and F-350, but does not mention the performance of the F-150 alone.

Shortly thereafter comes the Tesla Model Y, losing 3% of customers and placing 372,613 vehicles, a fall that can be justified by the fact that the restyled version is close to being released.
