Trailer has first images of Krypton in the film
O DC Studios revealed today (10) the first teaser trailer for Supergirla film that will star Milly Alcock and is part of the same universe as Superman. The video features scenes of the heroine with pirates and a moment in which she appears with the same look as in the first poster.
However, the main highlight is the first glimpse of Krypton, Kara and Kal-El’s home planet, where we see Kryptonians wearing clothes similar to Jor-El’s in Superman. The inhabitants of the planet appear in a kind of ritual. See below.

All about Supergirl
Originally named Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrowthe heroine’s film is now just called Supergirl and it will be a sci-fi epic based on the praised saga of the same name written by Tom King and drawn by Brazilian Bilquis Evely in the DC comics, with Supergirl not on Earth, but traveling through space in search of revenge and justice – or parties.
Krypto, the Superdog, will also appear in the production. In the plot, Supergirl teams up with young Ruthye Marie Knoll to find the killer of the girl’s father, Krem.
Milly Alcock, who played the younger version of Rhaenyra in The House of the Dragoninterpreta a Supergirl. Eve Ridley (3-Body Problem) will be Ruthye and Matthias Schoenaerts (The Old Guard) plays the fearsome Krem.
Craig Gillespie (Cruella) is the director and the script is written by Ana Nogueira, who had been hired by Warner initially to write a Supergirl film starring Sasha Calle, who played the character in an alternative world in The Flash.
Supergirl It also stars David Krumholtz and Emily Beecham as, respectively, Zor-El and Alura In-Ze, the protagonist’s parents, and Jason Momoa, who played Aquaman in the old DC universe, now in the role of the mercenary Lobo.
The film will be the second in the first wave of features from the new version of the DC universe, which began with Superman by James Gunn in 2025.
The premiere is confirmed for June 25, 2026.
