However, what sets this apart from so many others is a very special reason: it has an original idea of Paulo Gustavocelebrated actor who left us in 2021. Starring Marcus Majella e Pedroca Monteirothe work follows the saga of two police officers trying to join the Rio de Janeiro police.

SYNOPSIS
Jeff (Marcus Majella) and Jhonny (Pedroca Monteiro) start exchanging barbs and, little by little, the pair of agents consolidates a super professional and personal partnership. With a series of mishaps and adventures, the two undertake together the mission of infiltrating a penitentiary to defeat a powerful gang led by the mysterious Onça (Dira Paes).

Very Special Agents is a Migdal Filmes, A Fábrica and Na Paralela Filmes production, in co-production with Globo Filmes, with investment from Fundo Setorial do Audiovisual and Funcine Tim. Distributed by Downtown Filmes, it premieres exclusively in cinemas on January 8, 2026.
