Brazilian cinemas had their worst weekend of the year in terms of box office and attendance, with the absence of relevant releases in the period, according to data from Comscore Movies.

“The Conjuring 4: The Last Ritual”in its fifth week of exhibition, remained at the top of the national box office. “One Battle After Another” e “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Castelo Infinito” come next.

The debut of “Fighter’s Heart – The Smashing Machine” had the fourth highest box office of the weekend, while the re-release of “Avatar: The Path of Water”from 2022, had the fifth highest revenue.

In the United States, the debut of “Taylor Swift: The Official Release Party of a Showgirl” had the biggest box office in local cinemas, reaching US$33 million between October 3rd and 5th, according to the site Box Office Mojo.

In Brazil, the launch film for the American singer’s new album, “The Life of a Showgirl”is scheduled to premiere on October 24th.
