The national comedy “Perrengue Fashion” arrives on Prime Video as one of the premieres for those looking for lightness on the weekend. Starring Ingrid Guimarães, the film mixes humor, chaos and an unexpected journey through the Amazon.
In the story, Ingrid plays Paula Pratta, a fashion influencer accustomed to the spotlight, million-dollar campaigns and a routine where everything is meticulously calculated to shine on social media. She ends up receiving an invitation to star in a special Mother's Day campaign alongside her son, Cadu (Filipe Bragança).
Everything seemed perfect until the young man decided to travel to the Amazon to become involved in defending the forest. Her son's decision puts the influencer's impeccable schedule at risk and forces Paula to leave her luxurious bubble.
Forced to keep her digital image intact, she heads to the North alongside her faithful assistant Taylor (Rafa Chalub), beginning a journey full of blunders, remarkable encounters and discoveries that make her rethink priorities.

The scenes in the Amazon, recorded among riverside communities and natural settings, give the film a special charm, especially when Paula, completely lost in local customs, tries to cope with a menu that includes maniçoba, tacacá, açaí and tapioca. The character turns up her nose, but off camera, Ingrid Guimarães has already declared her passion for regional cuisine, especially maniçoba itself.
The cast also brings together Késia Estácio, Jonas Bloch and Argentine Michel Noher. Directed by Flavia Lacerda and script written by Ingrid Guimarães alongside Marcelo Saback, Célio Porto and Edu Araújo, “Perrengue Fashion” has an important difference: it is the first Brazilian production by Amazon MGM Studios, made in partnership with Paris Filmes, Downtown Filmes and Morena Filmes.
With light humor, lush landscapes and a protagonist trying to survive beyond high heels, “Perrengue Fashion” is the right choice for anyone who wants to relax on the couch and have a good laugh this weekend. A comedy that entertains, embraces Amazonian culture and also delivers that touch of reflection on motherhood and priorities.
