What models and which faults
Ford Argentina launched a preventive security campaign for its Mustang and F-150 models, with units imported from the United States. The measure includes reviews due to two different problems that could affect the performance or safety of vehicles.
The American brand has already notified the owners through an official statement, detailing that the review will be free and that it seeks to anticipate any risk, even when incidents have not registered in the country. Next, we observe the models involved and the reasons.

F-150 and Mustang (models 2021 and 2022)
In these versions, the recall responds to a possible failure in the low pressure fuel pump. The defect could generate an insufficient fuel supply, causing the engine to turn off. If this condition occurs, in extreme cases, the risk of accident could increase.
The warning signals include loss of power, irregular functioning, ignition failures or the light of “check engine”. The most prone conditions to generate the failure are low levels of fuel, warm climates and hot fuel in the tank.

F-150 (models 2024 and 2025)
In these units, the problem is on the acoustic alert of the seat belt. Under certain conditions – when the 12V battery has little load – the warning sound may not be activated when the vehicle turns on, which increases the risk of circulating without the belt correctly placed.

Contact and procedure
The owners can coordinate the free inspection contacting the Ford customer service from Monday to Friday, from 8 to 20, to 0800-88-3673, by mail to (email protects) or via WhatsApp al +54 9 11-3590-9236. The company will confirm the final solution as it is available.
