what series should you watch in November 2025?
As if the bad weather wasn’t enough, the time change definitely took a toll on our morale. Fortunately, it’s a good excuse to stay warm in front of your TV. Might as well look on the bright side of things…
But what to watch right now? That’s an excellent question. For this new month, video streaming platforms have not hesitated to pull out all the stops with an avalanche of new series and highly anticipated new seasons. Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, HBO Max… We have gone through the new releases joining their respective catalogs in November 2025 to offer you a selection worthy of the name.
Stranger Things – Season 5, Part 1 (Netflix)
It’s the last of the lasts for Stranger Things. After almost ten years, it’s time to say goodbye to a true pop culture phenomenon. While season 4 of the Netflix series left us with a host of questions, viewers will (finally) have answers. Season 5 of Stranger Things promises to be spectacular. Rifts open in Hawkins and our heroes must fight a final battle, even if it means losing their lives.
The first 4 episodes of season 5 of Stranger Things are coming to Netflix November 27, 2025. You will then have to be patient to discover the other episodes, with a burst set for December 25 and the final point broadcast on January 1, 2026 on Netflix.
Maxton Hall – Saison 2 (Prime Video)
In 2024, the first season of Maxton Hall has won over Prime Video viewers, establishing itself as the most viewed non-English-speaking original series on the platform. Obviously, everyone is impatiently awaiting season 2 of this German series.
It’s back to school at Maxton Hall. After their separation, Ruby and James must relearn how to live without each other. The news of his mother’s death plunged James into deep distress, the young man withdrawing into himself, pushing Ruby away and diving back into his faults (that is to say the arms of other young women).
In this second season, the young man is embarked on a self-destructive spiral and the series will explore the consequences of James’ mourning. The 6 episodes of season 2 of Maxton Hall will be available November 7th sur Prime Video.

Merteuil (HBO Max)
If you like Dangerous connections by Pierre Choderlos de Laclos, you will love it Merteuil. This new original series offers a new interpretation of the fascinating work, focusing on Isabelle de Merteuil. The series intends to show how she became the strong and ruthless woman so often portrayed.
So, Merteuil follows this penniless orphan who believed the false promises of the Viscount de Valmont, who only married him to taste his charms. The young woman is then drunk with revenge and launches into a dizzying climb defying men and their power from the libertine underworld to the court of Louis XV. At the end of her struggle, she will have to choose between love and freedom.
The series boasts a luxury cast with Anamaria Vartolemei (Le Comte de Monte Cristo, Mickey 17), Vincent Lacoste (Please, love, and run fast), Dian Kruger (Inglorious Basterds) or even Lucas Bravo (Emily in Paris). It can be seen on HBO Max November 14th.

The Beast in me (Netflix)
The Beast in me should please thriller fans. This new Netflix series focuses on a famous author who finds herself drawn into a twisted psychological game with her rich and powerful new neighbor, who may well be a murderer. Thrilling.
8 episodes make up this first season led by Claire Danes (Homeland) et Matthew Rhys (The Americans). Appointment this November 13 sur Netflix.
Frankenstein (Netflix)
As a bonus, we have selected the must-see film in November. The excellent Guillermo del Toro (Pinocchio) gives us his version of a story more emblematic than ever by Mary Shelley. Victor Frankenstein, a scientist as brilliant as he is egocentric, brings a creature to life in a monstrous experiment that will tragically lead the creator and his creation to their doom.
The casting is brilliant: Jacob Elordi (Saltburn), Oscar Isaac (Moon Knight) or even Mia Goth (Emma) are there. Frankensteinit comes out next November 7 sur Netflix.
