‘Free Birds’

“Free Birds’ is the perfect movie to stream on Thanksgiving.

Starring Owen Wilson, Woody Harrelson and Amy Poehler, the animated film follows Reggie, a turkey pardoned by the president that year, whose life is turned upside down when he encounters another turkey named Jake.

The two then team up on a time travel mission to prevent the turkey from becoming part of the Thanksgiving dinner. Their mission takes them back in time, just before the first Thanksgiving in 1621, to accomplish their objective, but before they can, they are captured.

‘Daddy’s House’

“Daddy’s House” perfectly combines comedy with exciting acquainted fun.

In the film, Will Ferrell portrays the straight-laced stepfather of two children who have finally started to warm up to him. However, he begins to feel insecure when his extremely fit dangerous boy father, played by Mark Wahlberg, returns to town.

The two then face each other in a competition to win the family’s affection, each conspiring against the other.

“My character, Brad, almost sickly wants to be the best father he can be,” Ferrell told “Good Morning Britain” in December 2015. “But it’s nice to show these two characters, even though they’re a little at odds, at the end of the day they find common ground and are able to help kids in an uplifting way.

‘Tortilla Soup’

“Tortilla Soup” is a touching story about family and how food brings loved ones together.

The 2001 film follows three sisters and their relationship with their father, a retired chef who continues to cook for the family despite having lost his sense of smell and taste.

Food is the main focus of the film, as everyone gathers for a mandatory acquainted dinner every Sunday, even when personal conflicts get in the way and create problems between them.

Ice Dice’s first acquainted film is a success.

“We’re There” tells the story of Nick as he tries to impress his girlfriend, Suzanne, by offering to accompany her two children on a flight from Portland to Vancouver so they can visit their mother.

After being banned from flying, Nick embarks on a long road trip with the kids, facing a series of comical obstacles along the way as the kids continue to push their limits.

Before marrying Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Cheryl Hines starred as the Munro family matriarch in the 2006 comedy “Motorhome.”

Also starring Robin Williams, Josh Hutcherson and Kristin Chenoweth, the film follows the Munro family on a road trip from Los Angeles to the Rockies after patriarch Bob cancels his Hawaii vacation to secretly travel to Boulder, Colorado, for a business meeting.

A series of setbacks along the way, including blocked toilets, handbrake problems, and ongoing run-ins with the eccentric Gornicke family, help the family bond and bring them closer together.

‘Nanny McPhee’

Emma Thompson introduced herself to a whole new audience when she starred in the 2005 children’s film “Nanny McPhee,” in which she played a magical nanny.

Thompson plays the titular character, who arrives to help the widowed Mr. Brown, with his seven rebellious children who have already alienated 17 different nannies.

Although initially hesitant about their new nanny, the children also try everything they can to scare her, but when she is gone, they realize that they need her help more than ever if they want to keep the family together.

“I love her mystery and her intelligence, and I love her judicious and consistent patience,” Thompson told Oprah. com in August 2010. “And I love the fact that she really tries to give kids the tools to solve their own problems. She doesn’t mean that’s what you do.”

“Christmas at the Greenbrier” tells the story of a former couple who find their way back to each other.

In the film, retired professional football player Ben (Josh Murray) unexpectedly crosses paths with his ex-girlfriend Abby, played by Alicia Leigh Willis, at the historic luxury resort The Greenbrier while on vacation. After their relationship was damaged by their career years earlier, the two must decide if they are willing to risk their hearts for a second time.

Murray told Fox Information Digital that he bonded with the characters of Ben and Abby after having another chance at love.

He continued: “And, you know, there’s fear. There’s fear that this will fail. That the same thing will happen. That they’ll get hurt again. We want to try to learn our lesson and avoid that pain. But sometimes we have to take the risk of that second chance to have a different outcome.”

“Christmas in Big Sky Country” is another must-see holiday romance film.

The film focuses on the community in the country Massive Sky, who are nervous about a recent power outage at an oil rig. Becca Collins, played by Rebecca Dalton, is one of the local residents who is worried about her brother-in-law’s safety on the platform.

To lift the town’s spirits during the holidays, the oil company sends its public relations representative, Logan (Olivier Renaud), to the town. After meeting Logan, Becca begins to fall in love with the public relations executive, but as time passes she begins to wonder if he is trying to help those on the platform or just helping to protect his company.

‘The 12 Days of Christmas Eve’
