Zack Snyder and Tig Notaro are working on an action film

Tross and director Zack Snyder will reunite again in a new film project, in the action genre.

The idea came about after the actress and comedian participated in Army of the Deadyes Netflix.

At the time, Notaro replaced Chris D’Eliaplaying Marianne Peters.

“My participation in this film kind of went viral”, disse ao podcast On With Kara Swisher. “And it was so unexpected. My phone just exploded. I don’t walk around thinking ‘Oh my God, look at me’. I was so confused. So I called Zack and said, ‘I’m hearing from basically everyone that they thought I was sexy in the movie.’.”

In this, Notaro tried to transform positive energy into something creative.

“I remember saying, ‘What if we just went all in (on this idea)?’ And he responded. ‘Oh my God, yes, let’s make this movie.’ So who knows? It’s Hollywood. We are in the process of writing the script,” he added

The provisional title was as Deviantsand we only know that it will be set in “ancient times”.

Army of the Dead was supposed to become a bold original action-horror franchise from Netflixwith plans for multiple releases in the coming years.

However, the platform decided to “quietly” cancel both the direct sequel, titled Planet of the Deadas well as its animated prelude, Lost Vegas.
