Ford F-150 Wolf Rescues Sports Soul with V8 and special suspension

Sports focus picks are not new. In the 1990s, for example, Ford already had an SVT version for the F-150, reflecting the change of audience and gaining greater emphasis on comfort and aesthetics. After almost 30 years, the F-150 again receives a version with special touches, now called Wolf.

This name is not new to the current Ford. Maverick is already in the United States stores with this package and, as in the smaller sister, the F -150 does not receive engine changes – in this case, the V8 5.0 with its 405 hp and 55.5 kgfm, which is already very interesting.

Essentially, the new wolf version is an aesthetic package designed to make the F-150 look a little more aggressive, highlighted by black details. In the hood, there is also air inlet, exclusive front grille and a double layer LED bar interconnecting the headlights. Ford also modified the rear lanterns and added discreet wolf emblems.

The bright black wheels of 22 “are exclusive to the F-150 Wolf, and the rear has been downgraded in five centimeters for a more aggressive posture. Completing the changes are the exhaust tips, which are not available on Maverick Wolf. In colors, Ford offers four different tones besides black, rapid red, carbonized gray and Oxford White.

SVT Lightning’s spiritual successor features four -wheel drive, electronically controlled transfer box system and four selectable modes: 4×2, 4×4, 4×4 and 4×4 reduced. The maximum service load capacity is 658 kg, while the towing capacity reaches 3,583 kg.

For Brazil, the wolf version is still mystery, but not impossible. Recently, the brand has presented the Ford Performance line in our market, as did the F-150 Tremor, a larger focus on the out-of-road focus. The F-150 Lobo would fit this more urban and sporty proposal, especially for a V8 pickup with over 400 hp.
